Impact Events bring together national leaders from across the ecosystem to bring awareness of various efforts to develop data interoperability to reduce soft costs and attract capital/financial markets by making solar projects more bankable and bondable by streamlining the application process and enabling data analytics for improved risk management.
Too often data that can reflect the true and positive aspects of solar projects is underutilized because there is no way to exchange the data with other stakeholders and no assurance the data elements are “apples to apples” between stakeholders. Providing only GAAP reporting for most credit providers to consider does not fairly represent the true value of solar projects and constrains access to financing and surety.
Data interoperability can transform project data into an asset that properly reflects the value, cash flow and profitability of solar projects, and enables improved risk management to provide capital and financial markets with confidence to extend more favorable terms and conditions has had a very productive year.
Please join us for an update on various activities, the Orange Button, and the state and federal legislation that will accelerate the adoption and implementation of open data standards that can be leveraged throughout the ecosystem and across industries to improve access to capital and surety credit.
